November 1st marks a special day for Bollywood as it celebrates the birthday of three beautiful actresses from different generations. Padmini Kohlapure who made her presence primarily in the 1980s, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who made her acting debut in 1997 and our latest debutante, Ileana D’Cruz.
The yesteryear actress, Padmini Kohlapure, who belongs to a Maharashtrian family, was born on November 1st, 1965.
As a child, she sang in the chorus for films like Yaadon Ki Baarat, Kitab and Dushman Dost, who then later sang in her own movies like Vidhaata, Hum Intezaar Karenge and Sadak Chaap. Padmini was known for her professionalism and diligence and bagged her first Filmfare Best Actress Award for Prem Rog.
