Vicky Kaushal's historical epic has emerged as an unparalleled blockbuster, shattering box office records both in India and across the globe. The film, which chronicles the valiant life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his relentless battle against Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, has achieved a monumental milestone, crossing the ₹350 crore mark domestically and nearing the staggering ₹500 crore mark worldwide within just 12 days of its release.
Directed by the acclaimed Laxman Utekar, Chhaava has not only captivated audiences but also earned a special mention in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech, further cementing its cultural significance. Featuring stellar performances by Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna, the film has amassed an impressive ₹70 crore overseas, with its Indian gross collections soaring to ₹413.35 crore. By the end of its 12th day, Chhaava had accumulated a colossal ₹483.35 crore globally.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava has already eclipsed the earnings of major Bollywood hits such as Hrithik Roshan’s War (₹466.82 crore), Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki (₹470.60 crore), and Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 (₹472.77 crore). It now stands as the 18th highest-grossing Bollywood film globally and is rapidly closing in on the lifetime earnings of Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju, which garnered ₹541.76 crore.
