Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is set to swing onto PC next month, on August 12. Ahead of its highly anticipated release, Sony has released the PC specs. Like any other PC game, there are minimum and recommended specs, but you’ll also find the specs required for various graphical preset levels such as “Very High,” “Amazing Ray Tracing,” and “Ultimate Ray Tracing.”
Regardless of your settings, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will require 75GB HDDD with Windows 10 64-bit. 8GB of RAM is required minimum with 16GB recommended. If you want the Ultimate Ray Tracing, you’re going to need 32GB.
At minimum settings, you’ll run Marvel’s Spider-Man in 720p at 30 FPS with very low graphic presets. The recommended gets you 1080p at 60 FPS at medium graphic presets. Ultimate Ray Tracing gets you 4K at 60 FPS.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which of course is a remastered version of the 2018 PS4 game, came to PS5 in November 2020. While it looks amazing on PlayStation 5, it will almost certainly look better on PC — especially if you play on one of these higher settings. From improved shadows to Ray-Traced Reflections to unlocked frame rate, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered promises all sorts of exciting graphical features on PC.
Although it launches on August 12, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is now available for pre-purchase on PC. If you buy it ahead of the game’s release, you’ll get a “pre-purchase item pack.” this includes early unlocks for three Spider-Man suits (Iron Spider Suit, Spider-Punk Suit, original Velocity Suit), early unlock of the Spider-Drone combat gadget and five extra skill points to spend on ability upgrades. It’s nothing major, but it’s a little extra perk for buying early.
